Are there any extra fees that I will have to pay on top of the listed price?
Listed prices regarding accommodation are final prices and include all taxes and fees. Unless listed in description, fees for transportation to and from Little White Castle are paid by guests. Tours provided on our website do not include meals, guest’s private expenses and or entrance fees that might apply to some sites unless listed in Tours description on our website, .

Are my payments information secure?
Little White Castle does not collect and or store any Credit Card information. All payments made by guests go through RAPYD Payment Gateway Service Provider, using PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) a security standard applied by Visa International and Mastercard International. The PCI security standard provides a strict framework to ensure that companies handling credit card data fulfill all aspects of data security process.  With their PCI DSS certified card storage services, RAPYD provides its customers full security, eliminating the customers need to obtain their own PCI certification. RAPYD supports 3D Secure, Verified by VISA and Mastercard Secure Code.

Should I print a receipt to show the hotel reception?
There is no need to show us your reservation. It is advised that you give us your date & time of arrival. Your keycode will be posted to you 7 days prior to your arrival.

Accepted currency / Exchange rate
At Little White Castle we accept Credit cards from VISA and MASTERCARD. We also accept cash payments in IKR, USD, EUR, GBP, SEK, NOK, DKK and CHF . No transaction- and or service fees are applied and exchange rates are the same as our bank ISLANDSBANKI. Change is given back in IKR. Most transactions in Iceland are performed using Credit Cards and are widely accepted among merchants.

Rate policy
The LWC and its Website in general offers two rate options, non refundable and refundable. From time to time, special rate types may be available on the Website for customers. Such rates may offer unique policies, inclusions and / or minimum stay rules and any such policies will override other rules listed.

Booking definition
“Booking” means a booking for accommodation, and/or any other services or items made with us.
“Contract” means the booking and these terms and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the booking.
“LWC, We, Us” means the premises for which the booking is made.
“Website” means https://littlewhitecastle.com and any other website where bookings for Little White Castle can be made.
“VAT” means Value Added Tax.

Booking
On completion of the booking process a confirmation will be sent by e-mail. This is also your receipt. Your Booking is only valid upon our receipt of payment. As such, it is your responsibility to ensure that the credit card is valid and has sufficient funds to cover the Booking.

By making a Booking, you give permission for LWC to contact you by email and or telephone for any Booking related matters. To ensure booking confirmations are received, we recommend adding our URL to your safe senders list.

Age requirement
Guests must be 20 years or older with photo identification to check-in. Guests under the age of 20 must be accompanied by an adult. LWC reserves the right to check photo identification.

Number of guests
The Studio apartments are only to be used by the maximum number of guests suitable as advertised by us. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the apartments if we feel this condition is likely to be breached. The apartments must not be slept in by any other persons unless permission has been obtained from LWC.

Check in / Check out
Unless otherwise stated in the specific rate plan terms & conditions, check-in time is after 2 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. LWC allows early arrivals up to 2 hours free of charge subject to room availability. For earlier arrivals, it is recommended to pre-book the room one day in advance with a full day charge. LWC may accommodate late check-out after 11 a.m.; subject to room availability.

Children
0 – 2 years are free.
3 – 11 can stay free if sharing a bed with parents (existing bedding). If not sharing a bed with parents and they need extra bed we charge a supplement of €30.
For children 12 and older we always charge extra bed. Please include them in the number of guests section.

Refund policy?
REFUNDABLE BOOKING /STANDARD RATE
The cancellation is free of charge 14 days prior to the date of arrival, after this time we charge you 100% the room rate as cancellation fee, if we could not sell the room.
NON REFUNDABLE BOOKING
For a Non – Refundable booking, no refund and no changes to the booking are allowed. In case of a no-show, Full amount is charged. A credit card number is required to confirm the booking. The full amount of the reservation will be charged on your credit card shortly after your booking is confirmed.

Modification of reservation
(*): According to the chosen rate and according to availability, a customer will be able to modify his initial reservation one time without expenses until 14days before the date of arrival by noon (Iceland time). After this period, the reservation is final and non-modifiable.

Access/Apartment keys.
Keys to access the Studio apartments can be found next to the entrance. Prior to arrival, you will receive a code to the key-box. Upon departure, we ask our guest to leave the keys on the table in the apartment. Lost keys will incur a replacement fee of IKR 1.000.- per key. This fee also applies if you forget to leave the key during check-out. Kindly notice, it is essential that you provide us with your arrival time at Little White Castle, so that we may make the best preparations.

Non arrival/No shows
If you fail to arrive at LWC on the arrival date the entire reservation will be cancelled automatically by us and you will be charged the cost of the whole reservation. If you fail to check in on the first date but still continue your travel plan to stay at LWC, please urgently contact us so that we can keep the room for you for the rest of the nights. Otherwise as mentioned above, the entire reservation will be auto cancelled and no refund will be issued.

Booking vality
Booking confirmations are provided to you solely for your convenience. The Little White Castle retains records of all booking transactions including dates of stays and room rates. In the event of any discrepancy, alteration, modification or variation between your confirmation document and LWC’s official records, the LWC’s records shall prevail

Guest behavior
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of our neighbors other guests, the smooth running of LWC, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff.
We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from LWC if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

Cancellations by LWC
On rare occasions we might need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use reasonable endeavors to try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard and price to the Little White Castle.

Car Parking
Car parking is available free of charge infront of LWC but it is limited. Please note all vehicles are parked entirely at the guest’s own risk.

Smoking / Vaping
For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture WE DO NOT PERMIT smoking tobacco, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine and or cigars in our facility. A Designated Smoking Area is provided outside. Guests that break these rules will without exception be fined the amount of IKR 20.000.-

Cooking in the apartments
Studio One is equipped with a small Kitchenette, intended only for preparation of light meals and or reheating of premade meals. The Garden Studio is equipped with a full kitchen. Kindly familiarize yourself with listed amenities for each apartment on our website.
As much as we would like you to make the best of our kitchenette in Studio One and the fully equipped kitchen in the Garden Studio, we would like to inform that we do not accept heavy cooking that includes excessive use of oil and spicy ingredients such as curry and other spices causing strong odors. This will not only damage our interior but will also disturb other guests. Failure to comply with our cooking policy will result in a charge based on the costs of extra and/or special cleaning.

Special requests
Once booked, any special request should be made to us by email or phone. We cannot guarantee that your request will be possible or honored. We will do our best to accommodate your request and we only ask you to provide reasonable notice, so we can assist with any special requests. You agree that any full or partial failure to fulfil a request, outside the LWC’s normal inclusions, will not lead to a refund being owed.

Lost and found
Little White Castle assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately (+354) 861-6811 and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item. If we find items left behind after guests departure, we inform the guest by email.

Force Majeure
Little White Castle will not be liable for any change or cancellation of any booking or payment that is caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes beyond the control of LWC. Such events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation, acts of God, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, flight delays, acts of war, and any earthquake, volcanic activity, ash clouds, fire and explosions, whether occurring near the LWC or at any other location worldwide. We encourage you to secure a sufficient travel insurance policy prior to traveling.

Insurance
Guests are advised to ensure that their own insurance covers any loss or damage to personal property as well as LWC’s property and interior during their stay. Furthermore, guests are advised to ensure that they have adequate personal and travel insurance.

Damages
We do our best in creating an environment that lives up to our guests expectations. LWC reserves the right and you hereby authorize LWC to charge your payment card for any damage incurred to your room or the Little White Castle during your stay (including specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

Governing law and jurisdiction
This Contract is subject to the laws of Iceland where Little White Castle is located. All disputes, conflicts and claims arising from or in connection with this Contract shall be settled amicably by the Parties. Should the Parties fail to reach an amicable settlement, the matter shall be submitted to the competent court at Little White Castle’s domicile.

Website information
While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the Website, Little White Castle does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the Website without notice.
Please note that in certain circumstances, generic photographic images have been used to represent the general style of a particular product or accommodation. Any copyright and other intellectual property in the content and materials on the Website or at the LWC remains with LWC. Downloading, copying or otherwise using any material from the Website is permitted solely for private use for the purpose of booking your stay with LWC.
Trade marks used on the Website are the property of the respective owners. Hyperlinks to third party websites are provided for your convenience. We cannot accept responsibility for the content or use of third party sites.
The Website is operated by the Little White Castle.

Limitations
Neither the Little White Castle nor any other third-party suppliers related to the LWC online booking and payments, are responsible for any communication malfunctions, failures, difficulties or lost, stolen, or misdirected transmissions, messages or entries, or the security of communications. Neither the LWC nor any other suppliers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by user(s), by any of the equipment or programming, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of any information. The Little White Castle shall not be liable for any such damages whatsoever resulting from any of the foregoing situations.
Little white Castle may cancel, modify and report bookings to the relevant authorities, when it appears that a user has engaged in fraudulent, criminal or other inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the bookings contain or resulted from a mistake or error. You are advised that Little White Castle may have CCTV cameras outside in shared areas and you understand that recorded footage may be shared with law enforcement agencies as required.
